Artistic Statement
I am an educator and writer who creates fiction and nonfiction in memoir, short and flash fiction, and novel forms, challenging prescriptivist structures to facilitate innovation in thinking and to evolve genres. I traverse the lines between the abstract and concrete, the real and imagined, memories and dreams, and objective and subjective realities to illustrate human archetypes to foster personal and societal progress. I am seeking collaborations with other artists, and I am currently accepting commissions for fiction and nonfiction.
My work explores the intersections of cultural lens, philosophy, and rhetoric to deliver worldviews from Non Western, decolonized, anti-fascist, and nonhuman perspectives.
